Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN for a Medical ICU travel assignment in New Hampshire. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years ICU experience and is able to float to Stepdown, ED, Med Surg, and Behavioral Health Annex.

Active NH or Compact RN license is required and training is provided for Behavioral Health. Shifts are 12 hours, 7a-7p, weekdays with every other weekend. Travel staff may return after a 12-month break in service; a 50-mile residency is required for local rate eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active NH or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration (temp license not accepted)
• 2-3 years of ICU experience required, stronger independent and fast-paced skills closer to 2 years
• ICU and Stepdown experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Driver's license with address matching demographics required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration

Responsibilities

• ICU setting with float to Stepdown, ED, Med Surg, and Behavioral Health Annex (training provided)
• 12-hour day shifts, 7a-7p, weekdays with every other weekend
• Uses equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, Arctic Sun/TTM management, Alaris pumps, and rapid infusers
• No on-call requirements
• Care for critically ill patients requiring independent, fast-paced clinical judgment
• Weekly orientation provided
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius for local rate eligibility
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• 3 professional references required once committed, with at least 2 from leadership
