Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for 12-hour night shifts in New Hampshire. Requirements include an active NH or compact RN license and 2–3 years ICU experience; CVICU experience is preferred.

You may float to ED, Stepdown, and Med Surg and possibly Behavioral Health or affiliated facilities within NH. You will work 12-hour nights, four shifts weekly, with a 48-hour weekly guarantee and a local rate for nearby facilities within 50 miles.

• Ability to work independently across varied patient acuities

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting
• Work 12-hour night shifts, 4 shifts per week
• 48-hour weekly guarantee
• Float to ED, Stepdown, Med Surg with modified assignments
• May float to Behavioral Health or affiliated NH facilities in NH
• Use ICU equipment including balloons, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, temp management and rapid infusers
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Holiday coverage required

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for 12-hour night shifts requiring 2-3 years of ICU experience and an active NH or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• 2-3 years of ICU experience required; candidates closer to 2 years must demonstrate strong, self-starter experience across a variety of care settings
• CVICU experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and quickly across varied patient acuities
• RN Skills Checklist matching specialty required
• Driver's license with address matching demographics required

Responsibilities

• Intensive Care Unit setting within a hospital
• 12-hour night shifts, 4 shifts per week
• 48-hour weekly guarantee
• Floating required to ED (not just ICU holds), Stepdown, and Med Surg with modified assignment
• May be required to float to Behavioral Health
• May be requested to float to affiliated facilities in Laconia or Franklin, NH
• Uses equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, arctic sun or TTM management, Alaris pumps, and rapid infusers
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• No on-call requirements
• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting
• Holiday coverage required
• Accepts local candidates within a 50-mile radius at a local rate
• Weekly orientation schedule
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Three professional references required once committed, including two from leadership
