Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Colorado. A CO or compact RN license and prior ICU experience are required. The role requires strong critical care skills and the ability to work in a high-paced 16-bed ICU/CCU unit.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required.
• Minimum 1 year of current ICU hospital experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Meditech EMR experience preferred.
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months.
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted).

Responsibilities

• Work in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit with 60 staff members.
• Staffing includes CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT per shift when census exceeds 14.
• Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients.
• Unit uses cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps.
• EMR system is Meditech.
• Night shift schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
• Procedures performed on the unit include intubations and central line placement.
• Collaborative team player personality fit preferred.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel rate.
• Local candidates will not be considered.
