Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float position requiring MD or compact RN license and prior travel assignment experience.

The role encompasses Med/Surg Telemetry duties on a day shift (3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:30) with float responsibilities, every other weekend, and holiday coverage as needed. Flu vaccine is required, and locals within 60 miles may be accepted at a reduced rate.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS.
• ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg Tele experience.
• At least 1 completed travel assignment.
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80%+ overall and 100% lethal rhythms.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours (7:00–19:30).
• Float RN role within skillset and acuity level.
• Every other weekend.
• Holiday coverage as needed.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Flu vaccine required for all employees.
• Locals within 60 miles accepted at reduced rate.
