American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele travel position in West Virginia. Requires 2+ years RN experience and a WV or compact RN license, with BLS/ACLS certifications. This role offers a 4x12 day shift and potential 36 or 48 hour contracts in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Diverse adult patients with cardiac monitoring, travel-friendly benefits, and non-billable training are provided. First-time travelers welcome.

Qualificações

• Active WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including at least 1 year in specialty
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
• Strong Med/Surg Tele background with strong critical thinking skills
• Minimum 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31) unless exemption documented

Responsabilidades

• Work in a 37-bed Med/Surg Tele unit at a Level 1 Trauma Center and major teaching hospital
• Diverse adult patient population with cardiac monitoring capability
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Day shift schedule, 4x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, weekdays with every other weekend
• 36 or 48 hour contract options available
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs; Cerner charting system
• Provide nursing care to adults from uncomplicated to sub-critical with cardiac monitoring
• Scrub color: Royal Blue/White for RNs
• Orientation held every other Thursday and Friday with computer lab training
• Free parking available for travelers in attached parking garage
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent employees must wait 2 years before returning as traveler
• Current health system employees not eligible for this travel contract
• Candidates must reside >100 miles from the facility; 75-100 miles case-by-case; local within 75 miles not accepted
• Non-billable training modules required prior to start date (2-6 hours)

• Floating required within scope to meet facility needsUses Cerner charting system
• Provide nursing care to adult patients ranging from uncomplicated to sub-critical illness requiring cardiac monitoring
• Scrub color required: Royal Blue/White for RNs
• Orientation held every other Thursday and Friday, including computer lab training and unit orientation
• Free parking available for travelers in attached parking garage
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler
• Current employees of the broader health system (including Mon Health Systems, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, and Minnie Hamilton Health System) are not eligible for this travel contract
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; those between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted
• Non-billable training modules required prior to start date, averaging 2-6 hours to complete
