American Traveler, LLC. seeks an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele travel assignment in Louisiana. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with prior travel nursing is required.

The role demands an active LA license, BLS certification, and the ability to work 3x12 shifts with a 1:6 patient ratio in a hospital telemetry unit. Remote cardiac monitoring and frequent orientation/training are included.

Competenze

• Active LA state or compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience; 3 preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required; NIHSS preferred.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Proficient in IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and PICC line management.
• Experience managing cardiac drips (no titration), PCA, and insulin protocols.
• Competent in wound care, wound vac management, and isolation precautions/PPE.
• Experience with non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, and oral suctioning.
• Experience with pre/post hemodialysis management and renal failure care.
• Experience with CVA and pre/post neurosurgery patient care.
• One professional reference required.
• Must disclose any license disciplinary actions at time of consideration.

• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• Holiday RTO requests should be kept to a minimum.
• Candidates with recent professional cancellations may be reviewed prior to approval.
