Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Louisiana. Requires 1 year of experience, EPIC charting, and a LA or Compact RN license. Certifications include BLS, ACLS, CPI.

The role is a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital MS/Tele unit with a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM night shift and every other weekend, with a local rate for nearby candidates.

Qualifications

• Active LA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration (pending licenses not accepted).
• BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience.
• EPIC charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the MS/Tele observation unit of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
• Every other weekend coverage required.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Teal scrubs required.
• No RTO permitted for holidays.
• Local candidates within 75 miles accepted at the local rate.
• Permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible for travel positions.
• Pre-start, non-billable facility education modules required, ranging from 5-8 hours for RNs.
