American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient Infusion Therapy clinic in Vermont. Certification in chemotherapy/biotherapy and Epic experience are required.

The position features an 8-hour day, 40 hours per week, no weekend or on-call duties, and a generous benefits package including housing allowance, insurance options, 401(k), and travel/licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

Active VT RN license or compact license.
Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
Minimum 2 years of Oncology/Infusion experience.
Chemotherapy and biotherapy certification required.
Outpatient Infusion/Oncology clinic experience required.
Training in administering chemotherapy in a clinic setting required.
Epic experience within the past 2 years required.

Responsibilities

Outpatient infusion clinic within an Adult Hematology/Oncology unit.
8-chair clinic setting treating adult patients ages 18-100.
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1.
8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, Monday through Sunday scheduling.
No weekend or on-call requirements.
No floating or charge nurse responsibilities.
Uses Epic documentation system.
Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments to adult oncology patients in an outpatient setting.
Must work 2 of the 4 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Scrubs of any color permitted; nail polish not allowed.
Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended due to lack of public transportation in the area.
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April.
Local candidates accepted.
