Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week acute medicine unit assignment requiring recent specialty experience and AHA BLS certification.

The position requires an active GA RN license (state or compact), a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience, and encourages ACLS certification. Shifts are 12 hours, with travel perks and a generous housing allowance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (GA state or compact)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg specialty
• Required certification: AHA BLS
• Preferred certification: ACLS

Responsibilities

• Acute Medicine Unit setting within a hospital
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Schedule may vary within a 7A-7P timeframe
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
• Holiday coverage required: 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to accepting an offer
