American Traveler seeks a Med/Surg RN for a 12-hour day shift in Oklahoma. Requires 2 years Med/Surg experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (OK or compact) required at time of submission.
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
• Work history documentation required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit within a regional referral hospital.
• Cares for a population spanning infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• 12-hour day shift schedule.
• Weekend shifts required as needed.
• No on-call requirements.
• Develops and implements total nursing care through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care planning.
• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team members to maintain professional nursing practice standards.
• Local candidates within 50 miles will be considered at a reduced rate.
• Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after their employment ended.
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment.
