Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a 12-hour night shift position in Georgia. Requires recent Med/Surg specialty experience and an active GA or compact RN license. AHA BLS certification is required.

The role involves a 7P–7A schedule, working 3 shifts per week, with holiday requirements and travel considerations. Travel staff must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not considered.

Responsibilities

• Acute Medicine unit Med/Surg RN care
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, schedule 7P-7A
• Deferred schedule type
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer acceptance and cannot be requested after
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates considered
