Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night-shift travel assignment in Alabama. Candidates must have Cerner EMR experience and at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing.

Active AL or Compact RN license, current BLS, ACLS and NIHSS are required, with ACLS may be pending prior to start. The role features a 13-week assignment on nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), travel housing and licensure reimbursements, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (AL or Compact) required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Cerner EMR experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Uses Cerner EMR system.
• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit during night shifts.
• Local candidates are not accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week.
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
