Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg RN for night shift in Alabama. Requires compact or AL RN license and at least 1 year Med/Surg experience. BLS must be current. Cerner EMR experience preferred.

This contract spans 13 weeks with a nightly schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; every other weekend and a 6:1 patient ratio apply. Travel reimbursement and housing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Compact or AL RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience is required.
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred.
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the contract.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit (Unit/Floor 6) in a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• Patient ratio of 6 to 1.
• 13-week assignment.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week.
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered.
