American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift in Tennessee. Qualified candidates must hold an active TN or compact RN license, current BLS and ACLS, and have 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience.

A valid driver's license and no major work-history gaps are required. The role features a 7p-7a night schedule with floating responsibilities on a 40-bed Med/Surg unit, using Cerner EMR.

Requirements

• 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Medical Surgical unit with 40 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• Night shift, 7p-7a
• No call requirements
• No 48-hour scheduling expectations
• Block scheduling may be possible upon request
• Floating required
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Not eligible if previously worked at a CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years
