Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit with dysrhythmia management skills in a large hospital setting. The position includes a 13-week assignment and night shifts (12-hour) from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with orientation on the 2nd and 4th Mondays.

Active Maryland or Compact RN license, 2+ years of current nursing experience, and BLS are required; EPIC EMR experience and prior travel assignments are preferred. Local candidates welcome at the same pay rate.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required.
• Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience.
• Telemetry with dysrhythmia management experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience at 500+ bed facilities preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• 1–2 prior travel assignments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit care pre- and post-operative.
• Telemetry monitoring with continuous vital signs.
• Night shift: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Provide bedside surgical care to pre- and post-operative patients.
• Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate.
• Support high standards in a large facility.

Responsibilities

• Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit providing pre- and post-operative surgical care
• Two levels of care: adult inpatient Med Surg acute and telemetry with continuous vital sign monitoring
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Provide bedside surgical care to pre- and post-operative patients
• Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Strong candidates preferred given the facility's high standards
