Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 12-hour night shift in an Acute Medicine Unit. We require at least 2 years of recent specialty experience and an active GA or compact RN license, plus AHA BLS certification.

The position involves 12-hour night rotations, holidays, and travel support including housing and licensure reimbursements. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles away and be willing to travel as a traveler.

Qualifications

• Active RN license GA or compact required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in Acute Medicine Unit in a hospital setting.
• Care for medical/surgical patient population on a 12-hour night shift.
• 3 shifts per week; shift times around 6:45pm–7:15am.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays and 1 minor holiday.
• Residence must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Returning staff must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers.
• RTO must be requested upfront.

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Returning staff who were previously permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before returning as travelers
• RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
