Job summary
American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking a Travel RN for Labor & Delivery in Minnesota. This 13-week assignment offers rotating 3x12hr shifts (days or nights), 36 hours per week, ASAP start, and 1 opening.
You will need an active MN RN license and current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring certifications; ACLS preferred. OB experience required with credentialing and Livescan timing considerations.

American Traveler is hiring an OB/L&D RN for a 13-week night or day shift assignment requiring ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring certifications with an active MN RN license.
- Work in the OB/GYN unit
- 3x12 shift schedule, either days (0700-1930) or nights (1900-0700)
- Requires every other weekend or 3rd weekend commitment
- Must be competent in Antepartum, OB Triage, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum care
- Skills utilized include NST, external fetal monitoring, and recognition/treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- Active Minnesota RN license in hand or proof of Minnesota license application required at time of consideration
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience, with strong OB experience required
- Skills in postpartum care, couplet care, and postpartum hemorrhage management preferred
- MedSurg experience is an additional asset
- Must complete Livescan fingerprinting in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date
- Must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing contract
- Must reside more than 25 miles from the facility; local candidates within this radius are not accepted
- Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
- Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at the time of consideration
- Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility
- Travelers requesting a medical or religious vaccine exemption must submit appropriate documentation
- First-time travelers are not preferred for this assignment
