Job summary
American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced Travel RN for Labor & Delivery in Minnesota. The role requires 2 years in L&D/postpartum/nursery and an active MN RN license, with EPIC, Pyxis, and OBIX systems used daily.
Shift is rotating 12-hour days/nights with no on-call requirements. Assignment length is 13 weeks with potential for extension and local rate considerations within 80 miles of the facility.
Qualifications
- Active MN RN license required.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery and postpartum/nursery.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an acute care OB unit with 4 beds.
- Maintain 1:1 care for labor patients and 1:3 for postpartum/nursery.
- Work 12-hour day/night shifts with weekend rotation; may float to Med-Surg.
- Utilize EPIC, Pyxis, and OBIX systems in daily workflow.

- 1:1 patient ratio for Labor patients and 1:3 ratio for Couplets Postpartum/Nursery patients
- 12-hour day/night rotating shifts with rotation every third weekend
- Uses EPIC, Pyxis, and OBIX systems
- No call requirements
- May float to Med Surg if OB unit is closed
- Active MN RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Postpartum/Nursery and Labor and Delivery experience required
- Med-Surg float experience preferred but not required
- BSN not required for this position
- Nurse's preference for scrub color
- Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility may be considered at a locally adjusted rate
