Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/LDRP assignment in Florida. The role requires 2+ years in LDRP and FL or compact RN licensure, with certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.

You will work 12-hour night shifts on a 3-shift week schedule, support floating to sister campuses, and function as core staff on a 24-bed OB unit. Residency verification within 50 miles is required, and documentation must be prepared before start.

Qualifications

• Active FL or compact RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience.
• Degree accreditation must be listed on profile, or candidate must have 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• LDRP unit within an OB Maternal Level 2, Nursery Level 1, 24-bed unit.
• Labor patient ratios of 1:2 to 2:1 and postpartum ratios of 3:1 to 4:1.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week.
• Call required, equating to 12 hours within one calendar month.
• Floating required, with travelers floated first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility.
• Travelers are expected to integrate with and function as core staff.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of residency.
• Candidates must not own or co-sign property within the 50-mile radius.
• All RTO requests must be submitted prior to offer, as no RTO will be approved after submission.
• No block scheduling requests accepted.
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/ID.
• All required documentation must be finalized by the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documents.
• Clinical interview required prior to offer.
