Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a Level III high-risk hospital setting in New Jersey. Active NJ or Compact RN license, current BLS/ACLS/NRP, and strict adherence to certification timelines are required.

The role includes 3x12 shifts, with on-call floats among five partner hospitals including Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro and OLOL. First-time travelers are welcome, with opportunities for competitive pay, benefits, and weekly payroll;

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NJ or Compact) with Nursys verification within 2 weeks.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• BLS certification must not expire within 30 days of start date.
• 2.5–3 years Labor and Delivery experience, recent within 12 months.
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours, with 2 attempts max.
• Must complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours.
• Clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on unit.

Responsibilities

• Care on Labor and Delivery unit in a Level III high-risk hospital.
• Day shift 3x12 hours, 07:00–19:00.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required.
• Float to High Risk OB unit (16 rooms) as needed, caring for early inductions, antepartum, and continuous monitoring patients.
• May be assigned to float among five designated hospitals (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL) based on staffing needs.
• Floating for L&D RNs is uncommon as most deliveries occur at the primary facility.
• Epic charting experience preferred; provide nursing care to antepartum and high-risk antepartum patients.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a Level III high-risk hospital setting, requiring active NJ or compact RN license and ACLS/BLS/NRP certifications.

Requirements

• Active RN license (NJ or Compact) required, in hand with Nursys verification dated within 2 weeks of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• BLS certification must not expire within 30 days of assignment start date
• 2.5-3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing, taken on a PC (iOS devices not compatible), with only 2 attempts allowed
• Must complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing
• Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit in a Level III high-risk hospital facility
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00-19:00)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Will float to High Risk OB unit (16 rooms) as needed, caring for early inductions, antepartum, and continuous monitoring patients
• May be assigned to float among five designated hospitals (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL) based on staffing needs

• Any float assignments will remain within scope of practice
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Provide nursing care to antepartum and high-risk antepartum patients
• Scrubs provided by the hospital
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to the local rate
• RTO must be submitted with the profile; requests after submission will not be accepted
• No RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions
