Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Washington. The role requires WA or compact RN licensure, fetal monitoring certifications, and ER/ICU exposure as applicable. You’ll monitor neonates, support labor and delivery, and work with EPIC EMR in a high-demand unit.

The position offers a night-shift heavy schedule with 12-hour shifts as needed and a guaranteed 36 hours per week, plus housing allowance and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS (AHA), and NRP.
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) required.
• STABLE certification preferred.
• BSN not required.

Responsibilities

• Acute care Labor & Delivery unit with 4 L&D beds and 5 postpartum beds.
• Provides neonatal monitoring and labor and delivery care.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• Variable shift schedule with a majority of night shifts, 12-hour shifts as needed.
• Scheduled for approximately 35-40 hours per month within a 36 hour per week guarantee.
• Floats only as a sitter or helper to Med-Surg, ICU, or ED units and would not be given a patient assignment.
• Provides direct patient care for laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients along with neonatal monitoring.
• Cancellation policy allows for 1 shift every 4 weeks.
