Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery role in Osage Beach, Missouri. Requires MO or compact RN license and at least 2 years of L&D experience, plus BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.

The nurse provides care for mothers and newborns in a high-volume, 10-bed LDRP unit with a Level II Nursery. Shifts are 12 hours (7a–7p), with 36 hours per week and possible weekend work. Cross-training across multiple units and travel/licensure support available.

Qualifications

• Must have active MO or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Experience and comfort providing care for both mother and baby required
• Strong labor and delivery nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Acute care Family Birth Center with a 10-bed LDRP unit, Level II Nursery, and one operating suite
• Handles approximately 50-65 deliveries per month
• Cross-training required for Labor and Delivery, Couplet Care, Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, and circulating for C-sections
• Uses MEDITECH EMR system
• 12-hour day shifts, 7a-7p
• Every other weekend may be required
• 36 hours per week
• Provide comprehensive care across labor, postpartum, and newborn nursery settings within the same department
• OR green scrubs provided by hospital with access to changing locker room
• Emphasis on candidates with strong labor and delivery experience
