Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for night shift in Texas, requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and a TX or Compact RN license. The assignment runs for 20 weeks with 12-hour night shifts starting at 6:30pm, and includes housing and licensure support.

As part of a Maternal/Newborn unit, you will care for laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns, with float duties to the Mother Baby unit as census allows; commuting within 100 miles of the facility is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license TX or Compact
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring
• 2+ years L&D experience
• Driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Maternal/Newborn unit setting
• Night shift 12-hour shifts starting at 6:30pm

• Float to Mother Baby unit for newborn care when census is low
• Care for laboring/postpartum patients and newborns when floated

• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts starting at 6:30pm, with weekends and holidays as needed
• 20-week assignment
• Float to Mother Baby unit to care for newborns during low L&D census
• Provide nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients as well as newborns when floated
• Must reside within 100 miles of the facility
