Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and Cerner proficiency.

The role features a 13-week assignment with a 3x12-hour shift pattern (36 hours) and travel considerations within a 50-mile radius of the facility. Candidates must have TX licensure, necessary certifications, and be open to travel assignments.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in TX or compact required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Intermediate/advanced fetal monitoring certification required.
• Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Experience with OBED/Triage and OR circulation required.
• Cerner EMR experience required and listed in employment history.
• Valid driver’s license required for consideration.
• SSN (full or last 4) and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting.
• 3x12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours), 6:45 AM-7:15 PM.
• Must be open to work any day of the week as self-scheduling is not available.
• 13-week assignment.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Keep requested time off (RTO) to less than 7 days.
• First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met.
• Returning permanent employees or previous travelers require additional approval prior to consideration.
