American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for Labor and Delivery in Morganton, North Carolina. Night shift, 3x12 hours, 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment.
Requires active NC or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and prior L&D and mother/baby experience. Assignment includes a 16-room LDRP unit, with NICU support, and on-site resources. Competitive weekly pay and benefits.

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery night shift position requiring both L&D and mother/baby experience along with an active NC or compact RN license.
- Work in a 16-room LDRP unit with a C-section suite and PACU located on the L&D unit
- 4-bed Special Care Nursery on site
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Closed specialty unit with no float requirements outside the Family Center
- May float within the hospital
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current NRP certification required
- Prior L&D experience required
- Prior mother/baby experience required
- Unit supported by preadmit nurse, discharge planner/case worker, maternity navigator, unit educator, and lactation consultant staff
- Unit participates in ongoing process improvement initiatives including Eat, Sleep, Console program and statewide obstetrical care research
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Previous employees must have a 1-year break in service before returning
- Background checks will not accept DUI or DWI within the past year; other findings reviewed case by case
- Requested time off must be listed on application and approved prior to confirmation
