• Current BLS certification (AHA only)

Responsibilities

• Work in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shift 19:00–07:30
• 3 twelve-hour shifts per week plus 4 twelve-hour on-call shifts within a 6-week period
• Floating to similar units as needed
• 13-week assignment
• Assess patient needs through history, observation, exam, and data analysis
• Deliver age-specific nursing interventions per plan of care and standards
• Foster a compassionate environment for patients, families, visitors
• Use health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff
• Precept and mentor staff while contributing to department growth
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education

• Scheduled for 3 twelve-hour shifts per week plus 4 twelve-hour call shifts within a 6-week period

• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis
• Deliver age-specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and nursing standards
• Foster a compassionate, respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors
