Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment in New Mexico. The role requires an active NM or compact RN license and at least 2 years of L&D experience.

This 13-week assignment runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with every other weekend off. Housing allowances, travel and licensure reimbursements, and other benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NM or compact state is required.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• AHA certifications required.
• Must be fingerprinted prior to hire per NM state requirements with documentation of processing.
• May begin on a 14-day waiver while awaiting fingerprint results, under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit.
• 13-week assignment with night shift hours 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• Facility is a Joint Commission accredited, 199-bed hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center.
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays.
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate.
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate.
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time during the assignment.
