Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment in Minnesota. A current MN RN license (or proof of application) is required, along with 2 years of L&D experience and 3 years in High Risk OB.

Travel nursing experience is expected, with mandatory Livescan in MN and timely lab work. Epic charting proficiency is preferred. This travel role offers housing support and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 3+ years High Risk OB charge experience
• Active Minnesota RN license or proof of application
• Current BLS, FHM, NRP certifications
• Preferred: AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate certifications
• Previous travel nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours (19:00–07:30)
• Every third weekend required
• Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery including triage and circulating duties
• Holiday coverage as needed by the facility
• Caring for patients in OR, Antepartum, and Triage as needed
• Support with Epic charting and other duties as assigned

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring active MN licensure and prior L&D experience.

Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN license required in hand or proof of application submitted
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• 3 years of High Risk OB charge experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP
• Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must complete Livescan fingerprinting in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date
• Must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing contract

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00-07:30
• Every third weekend required
• Preferred experience in OR, Antepartum, and Triage
• Preferred experience with Epic charting system
• Additional skills in Triage and Circulate (Circulate preferred)
• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting including triage and circulating duties
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility
• Local candidates within 25 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Former permanent employees must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at the time of consideration
• Candidates requesting a medical or religious vaccine exemption must provide appropriate documentation
