Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring fetal monitoring skills and current AWHONN and NRP certifications.

The role is based in a Critical Access Hospital setting with 8 beds, 1:1 labor care, and a 12-hour night shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of OB/Labor & Delivery experience, NH or Compact RN license, and strong fetal monitoring expertise.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NH or Compact).
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery/OB experience.
• Fetal monitoring experience required.
• STABLE certification highly preferred.
• Previous travel experience highly preferred.
• Labor & Delivery skills checklist completed within the past year.
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year.

Responsibilities

• Work in an 8-bed Obstetrics/Labor & Delivery unit within a Critical Access Hospital.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 for active labor and 1:2/3 for mother-baby care.
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend (EOW) required.
• No on-call requirements.
• Provide individualized nursing care supporting birthing options from natural birth to full epidural anesthesia.
• Collaborate within a supportive team focused on personalized patient care.
• RTO requests limited to 5 days or fewer.
