Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a travel opportunity in California. The role covers labor through postpartum care and newborn monitoring up to 28 days, with a 36-hour week (3x12s) and every-other weekend.

Start date is April 13, 2026, end date July 12, 2026, with day shifts and no call requirements. Requirements include 3–4 years of L&D experience, a nursing degree, BLS and NRP certifications, with ACLS and STABLE preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of Labor & Delivery experience (required).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS (required)

• ACL S (preferred)
• STABLE (preferred)
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (required within 6 months if not current)
• Frequent patient handling (lifting, transferring up to 50 lbs)
• High-alert clinical setting with exposure to blood/body fluids
• Use of fetal monitoring equipment (Fetal Link), Pyxis, and EMR systems

Shift: Day Shift (06:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

Schedule: 36 hours/week (3x12s)

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Call: Not required

Float: Not required

Facility Overview

Facility offers a supportive, team-oriented setting with:

24/7 hospitalist coverage

Tele-pharmacy support (after hours)

Transitioning from Cerner → Epic (2026)

Your Role

As an RN in the Women’s Care Unit, you will:
