Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift in Knoxville, TN to provide total patient care in a 31-bed ICU using Cerner EMR.

Requirements include active TN or compact RN license, NIHSS/ACLS/BLS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years ICU experience; CVT open heart experience is preferred. Housing support and licensure reimbursements may be offered for traveling nurses.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license required.
• NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2+ years ICU experience; total patient care in ICU.
• CVT open heart experience preferred.
• No gaps in work history totaling 90+ days in past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 31-bed Intensive Care Unit.
• Patient ratio of 2:1.
• Total patient care scope of practice in ICU setting.
• Shift schedule of 7p-7a, every other weekend.
• No call, no floating, and no block scheduling.
• Uses Cerner EMR.
• Provide total patient care to critically ill ICU patients.

• Total patient care experience in an ICU setting required
• CVT open heart experience preferred

• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
