Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week, night-shift assignment in South Carolina. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of ICU acute care experience and an active SC or compact RN license.

Responsibilities include caring for neuro and trauma patients using advanced critical care technology and Cerner EMR. Night shifts are 3x12 hours, with housing and travel reimbursements offered.

Qualifications

• SC or compact RN license active, no pending licenses.
• Minimum 2 years ICU acute care experience in a US hospital.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA).
• CPI certification required (Crisis Prevention Institute).
• BSN highly desired.
• Two manager or supervisor references within the last 12 months (one from most recent employer).
• Valid US SSN required.

Responsibilities

• Multidisciplinary ICU caring for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients.
• Uses advanced critical care technology including ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, BIS monitors, and advanced monitors.
• Cerner EMR experience required.
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts per week.
• Perform a variety of patient care tasks in accordance with licensure and certification requirements.
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.

• Uses advanced critical care technology including ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and IV infusion pumps
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Perform a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements
• Fulfill the care needs of critically ill patients, families, and the community
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
