Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Night Shift ICU RN with critical care experience for a 14-bed adult ICU in Illinois. Active IL RN license and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS are required, with CCRN preferred. Cerner EMR experience is highly valued.

Two professional references are required. Responsibilities include caring for adult patients 16+, managing sepsis and strokes, and using Impella, IABP, and Prismaflex CRRT. Night shifts are 10 hours, four nights per week, with potential unit float and no on-call

Qualifications

• IL RN license active required.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience.
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for 14-bed ICU adult patients 16+.
• Manage sepsis, shock, DKA, AKI, vascular issues, strokes, ventilator/tracheostomy care.
• Utilize Impella devices, IABP, and CRRT (Prismaflex).
• Night shift schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week.
• May float within scope to PCU or Med/Surg units.
• No on-call requirements.
• Provide critical care nursing to complex adult ICU patients with advanced monitoring.

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• CCRN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• 2 professional references from similar specialty experience (1-2 years) required

Responsibilities

• 14-bed ICU treating adult patients ages 16 and up
• Patient population includes sepsis, shock, DKA, AKI, vascular issues, strokes, and ventilator/tracheostomy care
• Utilizes Impella devices, IABP, and CRRT (Prismaflex system)
• Night shift schedule, 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week
• May float within scope to PCU or Med/Surg units
• No on-call requirements
• Provide critical care nursing to complex adult ICU patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
• RTO must be submitted at time of application
