Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with strong CRRT skills for a night-shift 13-week travel assignment in Wisconsin. Requires 2+ years ICU experience and WI/compact RN licensure. You’ll work 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, alternating 3x12 and 4x12 schedules, with VRN and EPIC experience preferred and travel nursing background expected.

The role offers robust pay, benefits from Day 1, and the chance to float to IMCU as needed, with orientation modules and supervisor references required.

Qualifications

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required in hand at time of consideration.
• NIHSS certification required, may be pending at time of consideration but must be completed during compliance.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required.
• Strong CRRT/CVVHD skills required.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Prior charge nurse experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred.
• Two supervisor references required, with at least one from the most recent assignment or permanent position.

Responsibilities

• ICU setting with a 1:2-3 patient ratio.
• Alternating 3x12 and 4x12 night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• 13-week assignment.
• Float to IMCU (stepdown) as needed.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Care for critically ill ICU patients including cardiovascular, neuro, respiratory, and renal cases.
• Skills such as ventilator management, arterial line management, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, and CRRT are utilized.
• Passport-style badge photo required within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
• Orientation includes facility modules averaging 3-4 hours in length.
• Travelers may return to this facility only after a minimum 1-year separation.
• Travel pairs are accepted.
• Facility cannot accommodate candidates with latex allergies.
• A video interview may be required depending on candidate eligibility.
