American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift position in Illinois. Requires an active IL RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and 2 years of ICU experience. CCRN preferred. Cerner EMR experience is strongly preferred and references are required.

The 14-bed ICU cares for adults 16+, including sepsis, strokes, and AKI. Night shifts are 10 hours; potential to float to PCU or Med/Surg within scope. Housing and licensure reimbursements are available for travelers.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Care for a 14-bed ICU treating adults 16 years and older.
• Manage patients with sepsis, shock, DKA, AKI, vascular cases and strokes.
• Care for ventilated and tracheostomy patients.
• Operate Impella, IABP, and CRRT (Prismaflex) equipment.
• Night shift with 10-hour shifts.
• May float to PCU or Med/Surg within scope.
• No on-call requirements.
• Provide critical care nursing to a complex adult ICU population.

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required

Responsibilities

• 14-bed ICU treating adults 16 years and older
• Patient population includes sepsis, shock, DKA, AKI, vascular cases, and strokes
• Cares for ventilated and tracheostomy patients
• Utilizes Impella, IABP, and CRRT (Prismaflex) equipment
• Night shift schedule, 10-hour shifts
• May float to PCU or Med/Surg within scope
• No on-call requirements
• Provide critical care nursing to a complex adult ICU patient population
• Local candidates accepted at the standard posted rate
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, no exceptions
• RTO must be submitted along with candidate profile
