Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring NC or Compact RN licensure and ICU experience. This role involves a 12-hour night shift (36 hours weekly), with every other weekend work and no on-call duties.

You may float to Med/Surg when ICU census is low, and navy blue scrubs are required. Minimum 1 year ICU experience, active NC/Compact RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications are mandatory, along with 2 professional references

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• 2 professional references covering entire work history required for consideration.
• COVID vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• ICU setting within a hospital environment.
• 12-hour night shift schedule totaling 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend requirement.
• Float to Med/Surg when ICU census is low.
• No on-call requirements.
• Navy blue scrubs required.
• No radius rule in place.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers.
• Permanent employees must be separated from employment for 90 days before returning as a traveler.
