American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Home Health role in New Jersey. The ideal candidate holds an active NJ or compact RN license and has strong recent home health experience.

Responsibilities include providing skilled in-home care, performing wound care needs, and documenting with OASIS and EPIC EMR. Schedule is day shift with specific weekend/holiday requirements; travel and licensing compliance are essential.

Formación

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Home Health experience.
• Med Surg skills required.
• OASIS and EPIC EMR experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Active BLS certification required, not expiring within 30 days of assignment start.

Responsabilidades

• Home health setting providing in-home care to patients discharged from hospitals and nursing facilities.
• Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Patient population includes wound care, wound vacs, Pleurx drains, ostomies, heart failure, diabetes, oncology, post-surgical, and orthopedic cases.
• Productivity expectation of 6 visits per day or equivalent, with admissions counted as 2 visits.
• Required to work every 5th weekend and every other holiday.
• Provide skilled home health nursing care to patients recovering from hospitalization or nursing facility stays.
• Documentation and charting completed using OASIS and EPIC systems.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with no exemptions.
• No mileage reimbursement provided.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
