Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN with geriatric experience and OASIS/HCHB proficiency for a Monday-Friday day shift assignment. The role serves adult geriatric patients and requires an active WA license, BLS, and at least 1 year of home health experience.

The position covers a 60-mile radius from the hub with travel at a defined rate; iPad provided for documentation, and mileage reimbursed. Housing assistance and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Home Health setting serving an adult geriatric patient population.
• Monday through Friday day shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day with 6 visits daily.
• Minimum productivity requirement of 30 points weekly.
• No weekend requirements.
• No on-call requirements.

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license required, in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Home Health experience required
• OASIS experience required
• HCHB EMR experience required
• Experience with wound care, medication administration, and pain assessment
• Skills in IV management, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, and phlebotomy required

Responsibilities

• Home Health setting serving an adult geriatric patient population
• Monday through Friday day shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day with 6 visits daily
• Minimum productivity requirement of 30 points weekly
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Required to visit the main office weekly or biweekly for team meetings and to pick up supplies and admission packets
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
• Must be flexible with assigned territory
• Perform admission assessments, start of care, recertifications, resumption of care, routine visits, and discharge visits
• Responsible for timely documentation and communication
• Scrubs required in any color, no jeans permitted
• iPad provided for documentation; personal cell phone not required
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
