Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Home Health RN to provide adult home health visits in New Hampshire. Candidates must hold an NH or compact RN license and have 2+ years of home health experience, with proficiency in OASIS documentation and blood glucose, IV/central line, catheter care and wound care.

The role involves about 6 visits per day, 4x10 shifts (Thu-Sun or Fri-Mon, 8:00am-6:30pm), weekends required, and a 8-hour orientation. First-time travelers are not considered.

Qualifications

• Active NH license or compact license required.
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross).
• Minimum 2 years of home health experience required.
• Must be able to perform admissions and complete OASIS assessments.
• Experience with blood glucose/glucometer management.
• Phlebotomy, IV/central line/port care experience.
• Wound care, G-tube site care and catheter management experience.
• Medication administration and oxygen safety/administration.
• Clinical assessment documentation and OASIS documentation skills required.
• References required, with one pending reference accepted to begin consideration.
• Drug screening must be completed within 14 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting serving adult patients.
• Approximately 6 visits per day.
• 4x10 shifts, Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday, 8:00am-6:30pm.
• Weekends required.
• No call or floating requirements.
• 8 hour unit orientation provided.
• Any scrub color accepted.
• Conduct admissions, routine visits, and assessments for changes in patient condition.
• Provide wound, catheter, G-tube, and IV/central line care as needed.
• Document visits per OASIS and clinical assessment guidelines.
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position.
• Former employees of facilities associated with the health system are not eligible, regardless of separation length.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at the local rate.
