Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Minnesota. Requires MN RN license, active BLS/ACLS, and prior travel experience, with Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities include ED duties, 3x12 shifts, weekend work, and holiday coverage. Travel expenses for fingerprinting apply; fingerprinting in Minnesota is required before start.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• TNCC or CALS certification required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Minnesota license in hand or proof of Minnesota license application required at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting.
• Shift rotation includes evening and day 3x12 shifts, with majority mid shift and occasional day shift.
• Required to work at least every other weekend, which may vary based on unit need and holiday scheduling.
• Uses Epic charting system.
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility.
• Must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing contract.
• Livescan fingerprinting in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to scheduled start date.
• Travelers responsible for travel expenses and arrangements associated with fingerprinting.
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
• All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at time of consideration.
• Local candidates within 25 miles of the facility are not accepted.
• Traveler's primary residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler.
• Candiates requesting vaccine exemption must submit appropriate documentation.
