American Traveler, LLC is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Wichita, KS. A KS or compact license and 2+ years of ED experience are required.

The role uses Cerner EMR, with night shifts 19:00–07:30 on a 13-week assignment. Required certifications include BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, CPI/MOAB High Risk, and Nursys verification within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• Active KS or compact RN license.
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (must be AHA).
• TNCC certification, renewed every 4 years.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• CPI/MOAB High Risk training (online and on-site portions).
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience.
• Current license and Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Emergency Department serving trauma and psychiatric patients.
• Uses Cerner EMR.
• Ceil blue scrubs required.
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30.
• 13-week assignment.
• Provide emergency nursing care to a patient population that includes psychiatric cases.
• On-site portion of CPI/MOAB High-Risk training completed during orientation.
• Local candidates accepted, subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate.
