Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department-Trauma assignment in Indiana. The role requires current ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and Ascension CPI certifications, plus an active IN or Compact RN license and 1 year of experience.

The assignment runs 12 weeks with a day shift 07:00-19:30, includes benefits and local radius pay rules may adjust compensation for local candidates.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention)
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Documents required for consideration include skills checklist, 2 separate references, copies of certifications, license verification, driver's license copy, full SS# and DOB

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department-Trauma unit of a hospital setting
• 12-week assignment with day shift scheduled 07:00-19:30
• Provide emergency and trauma nursing care within a fast-paced ED setting
• Radius rule applies which may reduce pay rate for local candidates depending on distance from facility
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate under the facility's radius policy
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Discuss assignment extension with manager approximately 45 days before end date
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
