Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department in Massachusetts. The role requires 2 years of ED experience, an active MA license, and multiple advanced certifications.

The shift is 12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, with 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holidays as needed; no on-call. Eligible for housing allowance, travel reimbursements, and comprehensive benefits through the assignment.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license in hand at time of consideration (compact license not accepted).
• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience.
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required.
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC.
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment.
• Skills checklist and supervisory reference specific to ER experience required, current within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a teaching hospital.
• 12-hour day shift schedule, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, 36 hours guaranteed per week.
• Every other weekend required, including holidays if needed.
• No on-call requirements.
• Provide emergency nursing care within a full-service teaching hospital offering a wide range of specialties.
• Personal scrubs of any color permitted.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required.
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility.
• Any requested time off must be submitted at the time of profile upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
• Scheduling requests must be finalized prior to submission, as changes after offer or interview will not be approved
