Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Missouri. MO or Compact license and a minimum of 2 years ER experience are required. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and SAFE are expected; NRP/TNCC preferred.

This role features 3x12 hour shifts with 1:4 patient ratios and every other weekend, with travel-friendly terms. Additional benefits include housing allowances, travel reimbursements, and paid per diem options.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MO or Compact) required at time of consideration.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and SAFE (SAFE provided at facility).
• NRP and TNCC certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required.
• Two professional references required for consideration.
• Copy of driver’s license and Social Security card required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of patient conditions and age groups.
• Emergency Department setting with 1:4 patient ratio.
• Day shift (3x12 hours, 11:00-23:00) and evening shift (3x12 hours, 13:00-01:00) rotation.
• Every other weekend required.
• Navy blue scrub color required for this unit
• First-time travelers accepted, subject to department review of experience and qualifications
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
