Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift in Kansas. The ideal candidate holds a KS or Compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications, with at least 1 year of ER experience; travel nursing experience is preferred.

New grads will not be considered. The role features a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), weekend rotations, holiday coverage, and floating to other units as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license KS or Compact required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC.
• Minimum 1 year ER experience; prior travel nursing preferred.
• New graduates will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting responsibilities.
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 1900-0700.
• Weekend rotation and holiday coverage as needed.
• Floating to units within scope of practice.
• Credentialing documents due one week prior to start (Monday).
• Nicotine-free facility; reside within 60 miles of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 1900-0700
• Weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage required based on unit needs
• Floating required to units within scope of practice
• No on-call responsibilities
• Virtual orientation held every Monday
• Credentialing documents due one week prior to start on a Monday
• Nicotine-free facility
• Candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility for eligibility
