Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role requiring flexible shift availability and an active RN license from any state. You will provide care in a rural hospital serving Navajo and Hopi communities, with orientation every two weeks on a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license from any state accepted.
• Minimum 3 years of ER experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC.
• NRP, NIHSS, and ESI Level 5 certifications within set timeframes after hire.
• Patient Sitter Competency Training required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Room setting within a hospital providing inpatient and outpatient emergency services
• Flexible scheduling across days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• 13-week assignment with orientation every 2 weeks
• Provide nursing care to patients of all ages and their families following physician orders and hospital policies
• Work independently to complete assigned nursing duties in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Facility located in a rural area serving a large regional population including Navajo and Hopi communities
• Limited shared housing may be available at a cost, with no family or pets permitted
• COVID and flu vaccine exemptions may be accepted with a declination form
