Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift in New Hampshire. This role requires 2+ years of ED experience and prior travel assignment history, with an NH or Compact license in-hand. BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.

The position involves a rural, small-facility ED with 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), a 36-hour guarantee, and a comprehensive benefits package including housing allowance and licensure support.

Qualifications

• Active NH or Compact RN license in-hand at time of consideration.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association) certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
• Minimum 3 months of travel assignment experience.
• Rural or small facility experience.
• TNCC certification highly preferred.
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 25-bed general medical and surgical hospital's emergency department.
• Rural/small facility setting serving the only 24/7 ED in the county.
• Treat a wide range of emergencies including trauma, cardiac events, burns, poisonings, and violence-related injuries.
• Department includes two triage rooms, six treatment rooms, two trauma rooms, dedicated pediatric and psychiatric rooms, and a decontamination area.
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a 36-hour weekly guarantee.
• Every other weekend required with holiday rotation.
• No on-call requirements.
• Provide emergency care including diagnosis, treatment, stabilization, and transfer coordination for a wide range of medical emergencies.
• Work alongside physicians, nurses, and paramedics specially trained in emergency medicine.
• Must be available to work two required holiday blocks: Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend.
• RTO requests limited to no more than 5 days and must be submitted and verified prior to assignment start; requests made after offer will not be approved.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
