Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ER RN for a dynamic Emergency Department position in Arizona. The role requires AZ or compact RN license with ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications, plus 2+ years in ER.

Expect 11:00 AM–11:30 PM shifts, a 4:1 pod ratio, and a 60+ mile travel rate eligibility. The ED treats diverse populations with trauma, STEMI, psych, cardiac, GI, and stroke cases; Cerner EHR is used daily. Weekend shifts rotate, and strict dress code applies.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or compact RN license required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• 2+ years of ER experience preferred.
• Trauma and pediatric experience preferred.
• RN license required for education.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 22-bed Emergency Department treating adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.
• Maintain patient ratios: 4:1 for pod, 2:1 for critical, 6:1 in fast track.
• Shift runs 11:00 AM–11:30 PM.
• Weekend rotation: 4 shifts in 4 weeks, every-other-weekend.
• No call and no floating requirements; use Cerner EHR.
• Care for ED cases including trauma, STEMI, psych, cardiac, GI, and stroke.
• Scrubs acceptable; dress code restrictions apply.
• Must reside 60+ miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility.
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at LifePoint facilities in last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time.

• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
