Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level IV Trauma Center in Show Low, AZ. Active AZ or Compact RN license and ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications are required.

Work 3x12-hour shifts (1200-0000) in a 30-room ED with EDOU, 1:3/1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, and about 100 patients daily. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), housing allowance, travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC (AHA)
• BSN not required
• Prior Emergency Department experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of acute and trauma cases
• Work in a 30-room Emergency Department, including a six-room EDOU observation unit
• Maintain 1:3 or 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio with an average of 100 patients seen per day
• Operate Allscripts Sunrise EMR and Omnicell medication system
• Support 3x12-hour shifts, 1200-0000, with a 36 hour per week guarantee
• 13-week assignment
• Scrubs color allowed (not all black)
• Adhere to cancellation policy (up to 3 cancellations per 13 weeks)
• 8 hours of orientation provided

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level IV Trauma Center position requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA)
• BSN not required
• Prior Emergency Department experience required

Responsibilities

• Work in a 30-room Emergency Department, all private rooms, including a six-room EDOU observation unit
• Unit includes 6 fast track beds staffed by a PA for minor non-urgent issues, 1 seclusion room, and 5 additional monitored rooms
• Level IV Trauma Center treating all patient types including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases
• 1:3 or 1:4 nurse to patient ratio with an average of 100 patients seen per day
• Supported by 5 techs during peak hours
• Uses Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR and Omnicell medication system
• 3x12-hour shifts, 1200-0000, with a 36 hour per week guarantee
• 13-week assignment
• Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of acute and trauma cases
• Scrubs are not provided; any color except all black is acceptable
• Cancellation policy allows up to 3 cancellations per 13-week assignment
• 8 hours of orientation provided
