Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a mid-shift travel assignment in Hot Springs, AR. Requires an active AR or compact license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS with 2+ years ER experience.

Familiarity with Meditech EHR, Omnicell, and IV pumps is preferred. You will work a 1:5 patient ratio in a 25-bed ED with weekend coverage expected. Must not have recent LifePoint permanent staff experience and cannot hold another full-time job.

Qualifications

• Active RN license AR or compact required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• 2+ years ER experience required.
• Experience with trauma, cardiac, and orthopedic patient care required.
• Triage experience preferred.
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at LifePoint facilities in last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time.

Responsibilities

• Operates in a 25-bed ED in a hospital setting.
• Not a designated trauma center.
• Maintains patient ratio of 1:5.
• Mid-shift schedule 1:00 PM–1:00 AM.
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours.
• Weekend coverage preferred, full weekends or at least 3 per month.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with an active AR or compact license and 2+ years of ER experience for a mid-shift travel assignment.

Requirements

• Active RN license (AR or compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP and TNCC certifications preferred
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required
• Experience with trauma, cardiac, and orthopedic patient care required
• Triage experience preferred
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time

Responsibilities

• 25-bed Emergency Department in a hospital setting
• Not a designated trauma center
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Uses tele-med cart, Baxter IV pump, and Omnicell equipment
• Charts in Meditech EHR
• Mid-shift schedule (1:00 PM - 1:00 AM)
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Weekend coverage preferred (full weekend shift or at least 3 weekends per month)
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to ICU, CCU, or Med-Surg as needed
• Provide emergency care for a mix of cardiac, respiratory, and orthopedic diagnoses
• Family-oriented team culture
• Scrub color requirement: navy or black, with only hospital-branded t-shirts allowed
• No other hospital logos permitted on attire
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
